The MOOC Accessibility Partnership (MOOCAP) now has a channel on Vimeo. The channel currently has sixteen videos; more will be added in the next few weeks. The videos are open educational resources (OERs) that were created for the online course Digital Accessibility: Enabling Participation in the Information Society on FutureLearn.
All videos have closed captions in English. You can enable the captions by clicking the CC button in the video player’s bottom bar. (To find out more about captions on Vimeo, see Captions and Subtitles in Vimeo’s help section.) Both the video files and the captions are downloadable and are available under a Creative Commons licence.
Some of the videos were previously made available on YouTube, but YouTube’s Terms of Service do not allow downloading. On Vimeo, anyone can download videos; it is not necessary to subscribe to the website.
