{"id":852,"date":"2017-05-18T12:59:25","date_gmt":"2017-05-18T10:59:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/moocap.gpii.eu\/?p=852"},"modified":"2017-05-18T12:59:25","modified_gmt":"2017-05-18T10:59:25","slug":"moocap-newsletter-may-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moocap.gpii.de\/?p=852","title":{"rendered":"MOOCAP Newsletter May 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In our fourth newsletter, we briefly report on the second run of the introductory <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;MOOC&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Massive open online course, i.e. an online course that can be accessed by an unlimited audience, and that typically uses videos, readings, quizzes and discussion forums.&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/moocap.gpii.de\/?glossary=mooc\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'  tabindex='0' role='link'>MOOC<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futurelearn.com\/courses\/digital-accessibility\">Digital Accessibility: Enabling Participation in the Information Society<\/a>, which ran on FutureLearn from 6 February till 12 March and which had even more participants than the first run. We also provide descriptions of the ten further courses. One of these courses, &#x201C;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.futurelearn.com\/courses\/inclusive-learning-teaching\">Inclusive Learning and Teaching Environments<\/a>&#x201C;, is scheduled to start on Monday 5 June on FutureLearn.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we would like to point out that the contents on which the introductory MOOC is based is available as a set of Open Educational Resources. You can find more details about this in the newsletter.
