The course participants come from over 120 different countries and are very diverse with regard to professional background and previous knowledge. Among our participants, we find students, people working in academia (both lecturers and support staff), people working for both small and larger enterprises (including startups), people working for public authorities, library staff, etc. Many participants are new to digital <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Accessibility&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;The extent to which a product (including software, websites and documents) or service can be used by everyone, regardless of disabilities.&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/moocap.gpii.de\/?glossary=accessibility\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'  tabindex='0' role='link'>accessibility<\/a>, while others already have experience with captioning videos, <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;User experience&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Any experience of a user that is related to the use of a technology.&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/moocap.gpii.de\/?glossary=user-experience\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'  tabindex='0' role='link'>user experience<\/a> research or product design. Some participants have first-hand experience of disability. This great diversity of participants has led to very interesting comments and discussions in the forums, where people have shared many tips and links to resources related to digital accessibility.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for the <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;MOOC&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Massive open online course, i.e. an online course that can be accessed by an unlimited audience, and that typically uses videos, readings, quizzes and discussion forums.&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/moocap.gpii.de\/?glossary=mooc\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'  tabindex='0' role='link'>MOOC<\/a> is open until 20 November, so it is still possible to join.
