In the Open Educational Resource (<abbr>OER<\/abbr>) we are publishing today, Neal Ewers talks about the challenges he faces as a blind person. This <abbr>OER<\/abbr> consists of several files:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B_Ytr4BUNCGqMWY0S09JVThMdlE\/view\">Microsoft Word document<\/a> that introduces the video and contains links to the resources listed below;<\/li>\n<li>a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=C1oLgxG4Pro\">YouTube video with the interview<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5vE5q8X6QCE\">same video, but now with Audio Description<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>downloadable versions of the videos and a <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Captions&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Text alternative for speech and non-speech sound in a video typically displayed at the bottom of the screen.&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/moocap.gpii.de\/?glossary=captions\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'  tabindex='0' role='link'>captions<\/a> file (all on Google Drive; the links are in the Word document).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All these resources are available under the <a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/\">CC-BY 4.0 licence<\/a>, which allows a very liberal use of the materials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you know what kinds of challenges people with disabilities face?
